Global Vision Payscale, HKG

Wanted to see what Hong Kong operators are paying (salary, housing allowance, insurance, retirement, etc. in HK$) for Global Vision (both PIC and SIC) positions today. Found some numbers for Gulfstream V and G550 from the past but don’t see any for the Global Vision.

Salary around $170,000 HK per month plus Medical insurance and ticket home for annual leave. Taxes, by then time you pay them, are around 15-18% I've heard. Accommodation is small and expensive.

HK$170,000/month for PIC or SIC with PIC type?

170 is about right for HK. The highest paid SIC I know in HK is on 138 on a Global. Other operators will start you on 155 as pic, but education allowance and medical benefits can easily add 3000 usd a month to your package .

And I’m assuming HK$170k/138k per month + housing; or “all inclusive” as they call when companies don’t pay housing allowance?

You pay for housing out of your salary. From what I understand, plan to spend 15-30k per month. But some pay much more.
170k is PIC pay.

With a family in the shanky mid-levels rental would be 50+K HKD/month for 1000+ sq.ft. Greener Saikung less for more space. Tung Chung (and an imminent divorce) around 20K for the same.

Education for little ones and everyday life is beyond normal expensive in HK.

Essentially, despite a low tax regime in HK, you have to understand the negatives of HK and not get flattered by the pay.

Good luck.
