Is there any truth that Cega air ambulance has gone bust! I hear that Capital has bought their aircraft and has acquired most of their work with them?

King Air 200 G-OCEG has been re-registered to G-XVIP and is currently in the Capital hangar at Exeter

That happened a few weeks ago, AirMed at Oxford also went at the end of January. Assets acquired by Air Alliance from Germany.

Is it just the aviation side of the business and the rest of the Cega group is still trading?

The AA wing was always a bit of a family hobby added to the massive assistance call centre they have, where they front a lot of other companies' small print 'I've had an accident on holiday' numbers in the back of leaflets.

Mortgages on Lear 45 G-IZAP and B200 G-0CEG were satisfied on 18/04/2016. Which perhaps explains why it now has any home and identity.

The accounts for year ended 31/12/14 show a whacking loss of £876,371 and the Balance Sheet of the same date a deficit to shareholders of £844,251. Does not quite give the sort of feeling of the sort of contentment aroused by a wallet brimming with crisp bank notes, rather than credit cards.

There is no mention of an appointment of ambulance chasers such as receivers or liquidators.

Capital are a very small part of the Rigby group.
