Flexjet european expansion

For a while now I have been reading in the news that Flexjet wants to set up operations in Europe in 2016 to compete with Netjets.

The thing is that I can't find any concrete info, only the initial announcement.

Does anybody have some more concrete info on these plans.

Any info is helpful.

Last thing I read, and that's about 2-3 months ago, was that they were looking in to acquiring an existing European operator that would be used as a platform for the planned European expansion. No names mentioned and I have not heard anything in the crew lounges around Europe....

That's exactly the same I read but if they want to start up in 2016 the clock is ticking and things in aviation don't happen overnight.

Yes they set up an operation in Europe, on the back of a Danish AOC holder, late last century, based in Denmark. 18 months later they sold up and all the crews were made redundant (fired). I do hope for the hopefuls they can do better this time.

This was back in the days when Flexjet was owned by Bombardier. Afterwards it was sold to an other owner. And they have new plans.
