Biz Jet Bone Yard?
Curious as to where all of old worn out bizjets go when retired. Part 121 airliners are stored and broken up by the thousands at desert airfields such as MZJ and VCV, but where do the old Lears, JetStars, Citations (and others) go? . . . . Of the 50+ years of light jet manufacturing . . . .surely an abundance of them are retired somewhere.

Not hard to find, either go to airliners.net - google Lears - l
ook at the photos until you see graveyards - you'll have your locations. Also go to FAA Register - enter Lears - look at the owners listed for the older 23/23/25 - you'll see the same name multiple times - google the company and you'll have a who's who of bizjet salvage. Hint some of the bigger ones are White Industries White Industries Aircraft Parts and Salvage Dodson; Dodson International Aircraft Parts, We Buy and Sell Avionics and Engines, Aircraft Salvage Parts, New Surplus, Overhauled Parts, As- Removed Airplane and Helicopter Salvage Parts. We Buy and Sell General Aviation, Corporate, Commercial Aviation and Atlanta Air Salvage; Atlanta Air Recovery - Welcome! Norm Hill Aviation (Gulfstreams); Norm Hill Aviation |
