JeppFD iPad problems post update
 

Is anyone having problems since the recent update to version 2.6.0?

As soon as I open the app it opens and then locks on the update page showing
error 127. There seems to be no way of navigating away from the update page. Unusable.

Only me?

Our crews have noticed slow and buggy app behaviour since the last update :sad:

I had similar problems until I updated the iPad operating system. The iPad needs to be second generation or newer, updated with the latest IOS operating system to run the latest JeppFD properly.

I had to do that also. Now it is stable, but a lot slower than before. Luckily we only installed the update on a test unit and not on the iPads that are used for flying. I hope they fix it quickly.

With 2.6.0 they changed parts of the GUI and that makes this thing sloooow. On some of our devices it also corrupted the database, so we ended up erasing it on all iPads, bring them to latest iOS and then reinstall JeppFD. Now it does run, but it is no longer fun.
