Hi !

do you know where can i find a list of phone numbers for all the us/canadian fir/centers ?

i mean boston fir, moncton, montreal, new york?

I see a list of them in the back of my 2012 North American Ac-u-Kwik, so I doubt this is super-classified info. I only have the US ones though, not Canada.

I was just wondering about this the other day, when I was having a bit of a hard time with HF, and thought I may try ringing up Shanwick on the sat phone...

There is a PDF that is a good start, just Google "artcc phone directory" it will give you all you need for US phone numbers. You can also Google the other centers, like Port Moresby ACC Telephone: +675 3252160

The phone numbers for Canadian ACC's are in the CFS (Canada Flight Supplement) which is a public document.

Satphone numbers for NAT area are on the Jepp orientation chart, with instructions on when it is acceptable to use them. I would have thought other chart providers would be similar.

If all else fails, read the instructions...
