5-4-3-2-1.............

That spin doctor has about as much spin as the other bogus banned solicitor. :ugh:

Naaaah, you can talk freely about RW.

As long as you do not make GEP's name of course......

Ooops

5-4-3-2-1.......

Jetblu 28th May 2013 20:23

Perhaps I should have rephrase my previous post.

Jon Hilton is a solicitor as much as Kevin Crellin/David Henderson (GEP) is a solicitor. :ugh

A chocolate teapot would have more use.

No worries about 5,4,3,2,1. ;)

G-CGIZ CT SW (UK Microlight category)

Jon Hilton Yep, still on. The plan is to do the outbound leg with a Ferry pilot & return solo. Hopefully this chap won't let me down... My £1,000 life raft appeared last week so I'm getting ready ! PS. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared. But hey ho.

Looks like ferry pilot chickened out.

Follow Jon's progress as he flies his microlight to Canada and back.

Jon is raising money for charity too

interesting reading the comments alongside some of the photos.

So for you Farcebook users, is this Hilton character even a solicitor?

Nigd3 29th May 2013 11:55

Although Mr Hiltons judge of character may not be the best and admits he has never met RW in person yet, his flight for the charitable cause appears legit and not in the GEP style of fundraising.

Dog's Bone 4th Jun 2013 20:34

Appears the Danish authorities took it a bit more seriously than the Canadians.

Reports suggest British NPPL. How far outside the UK can you fly on a British NPPL?

Interesting question on the Seneca V crash thread re insurance pay outs. Begs the question would the insurance pay out for this particular jaunt if the paperwork is not right for man and machine?

Long may his luck continue!

And some further musings....

Several people have written in recent months regarding contact from Mr Hilton concerning items about Weaver. Strangely all somehow got the impression that they were dealing with a solicitor who was threatening them with legal action and who would put up pages naming and shaming them.

Mr Hilton is under absolutely no illusions regarding the veracity of the official reports and transcripts regarding the Seneca flight nor the written evidence showing Weaver passing himself off as legally trained and/or qualified.

With people somehow getting the wrong impression as to their qualifications along with controversial landings made in Greenland could they have been separated at birth?

It doesnt look as though Mr Hilton is qualified as a Lawyer, or claim to be on his website.
Jon Hilton - National Solicitors

NS just looks to be a marketing firm for the legal profession and Mr Hilton is a jack of all trades. Nothing wrong with that, although contacting people and giving the impression you are a lawyer has been done before on these pages :).

The wording in the link that VVG gave is a bit hypocritical in how it threatens to blacken someones name via internet means and then preaches against it !!

Northern Listener 12th Jun 2013 23:28

Dear, dear, dear!

This is almost funny, well, it is actually funny really. Sadly I can see how this is going to end though.
Difference between Hilton & Crellin is Hilton isn't half as smart as Crellin. (sadly I've dealt with both so speak with experience)

The fact this guy is planning a RTW trip in that thing is nuts in itself, taking advice from RW is suicidal. Maybe AB will tell him some home truth's, only after taking his cash though. :}

With a bit of luck, RW's "planning" may fall apart before this guy finds himself bobbing about in a cold bit of ocean.
But, as ever, I suspect RW will be fine and dandy whilst some other poor shmuck suffers.:ugh:
