International Jet Management
Any news from that company. Since Jet alliance has filed for bankruptcy how IJM from Vienna is doing. Are they regular payers. How do they travel, business or economy. Etc. Would you recommend that company to a friend. Any info appreciated.
|
If you like to be shafted from behind I can recommend ijm. Seriously, the biggest mistake in my career! FTL's do exist, but are totally ignored. Getting paid is a gamble. At the end you won't. The owner, FF, is well known in the industry and has few friends.
Only as a last resort! |
@kelly: I friend of mine wants to join IJM's technical department. Do you/or anybody else have any idea if IJM is a good company - for engineering - or should he serach further?
Thanks! |
Can't advise re. engineering positions save to say it's the same cheating boss!

Advertising for type rated Falcon 900 ex easy FO. €2600 + per diem... Race to the bottom. Im sure they'll have lots of eager "pilots" ready to sign the dotted line.
|
I like the text in the add :ugh:
Our employees are our most valuable asset, therefore we provide excellent working conditions and emphasize that every employee feels comfortable in our company. |
I have no comment
good luck..............
|
Sounds like a top notch place to work.. No doubt that they will be attracting the best of the best pilots that money can buy..
|
They're not as bad as Avcon Jet, but only by an extremely small margin.
It is indeed a race to the bottom here in western Austria  |
Why is Austria and also some companies in Germany so bad in comparison to the rest.
|
It's where all the clients go who can't afford, or don't want to pay for, Swiss (or conscientious British) management.
How to run an Austrian AOC: - Sweet-talk an owner into giving you his plane, based on the premise that it's a good investment (not usually the case) - Put it on the charter market at hilariously low prices (e.g. 17k return Split-Paris in a CL30) - Charter the butt off the plane - Charge the owner huge fees to cover the cost of operating the plane, while pointing out that you can't charter it any more - Charge the owner further fees for maintenance and interior refurb after 3 years because it's been trashed by charter pax - Sell him a new plane after 5-7 years and start all over again The thing is, principals don't help themselves - I intimately know a small company here that tried to charge their client real prices for operating the plane, while promising to give him every penny of charter revenue. The client recoiled in horror, and, overnight, the plane is at a different company, operating to the above model... :hmm: And before anyone says I sound jaded, at one time I made my living from this same model. The more flights, the more I earned. Hurrah! Edit: I guess this is also good for charter customers too. Double hurrah! |
Makes you wonder why they pay their most valuable asset a mere 2600 euro+per diem. |
Any idea how much they are paying for the A319 contract based in Hong Kong?
|
Dream on IJM!
I'll be very surprised if they find anyone to accept that F900 job on that salary.
There was recently a round of interviews calling for a rated F900 FO in Europe on better wages and there was not a single F900 pilot at said interview. So they hired a non rated pilot. Doesn't seem to be many rated pilots about. |
Advertising again. This time €5k GROSS (!!) for a Falcon 2000LX captain....this is really showing how bad our industry has become.... I sincerely hope no one is stupid enough to apply with these T&Cs.
|
And 3000 for an f/o! Ha ha ha! Good luck with that!
|
Haha!! Danger allowance :E:
But seriously, what is happening?? Every airline on the planet is hiring and still terms and conditions seem to be going down, even for rated and experienced pilots!! |
The 400 € extra are for covering the increased risk for flying a twin only. :ok:
|
They are basing a aircraft in Hong Kong and offering crap conditions......some sucker will take it.
|
Their GLEX will be on the move to a new operator soon. Also, the rumours of 2x GL5T coming are probably wrong.
|
Who's running the show there? Saw the ad for the Falcon Crew in Vienna - must be a joke :yuk:
|
I heard they actually found an idiot who accepted the crazy low terms for the recently advertised F900 position.
|
To the said idiot: rest assured that the owner is being charged a heck of a lot more than your 5000 euro salary. :yuk:
|
Of course they found one (idiot) and now it looks like they are searching for a second one via Zenon...
Good luck to those of us still trying to get decent terms and conditions in return for our services. |
Happyjack To the said idiot: rest assured that the owner is being charged a heck of a lot more than your 5000 euro salary. |
Did you read the above?

The Empire strikes again
G280 Cpt IJM
€6 k a month must be typed and 500 on type EASA. There was an offer at $15000 a month at one point for a an Asian operator. I can understand if they are going to type you but my goodness how do you live in Vienna on 6000 a month? Are there a multitude of G280 pilots running around jobless? |
Hi
I suppose this offer is for an Austrian Contract (Austrian work law) Gross 6000,- / per month means: Employer: 14 payments per year. The total costs for the employer will be 107K euro incl taxes, medical insurance and state pension funds etc... Employee: 53K after tax / year. |
This company has a bad reputation - by all standard measurements. Owners are even staying well clear, after talking to each other. Pay peanuts and you'll get monkeys. That sums it up.
|
is there really guy wanna work in Asia?
one of my friends told me the payment is good, is there anyone has some experience or has friend working in Asia? regards.
|
Crazy operation
If the job is in dubai is not badly paid, despite being to work without working visa and in a 'strange' operation .... and I would say that IJM only a last resort, because they dont keep their words(contract).
