I camped with my family at Sproat Lake for two days back in the 80's..................in the vain hope of seeing one of these beautiful aircraft fly.
No luck, not even an engine run, but still worth it, just to see these majestic aircraft rocking out at their moorings.

I have wondered for a while how it must feel to the pilot flying when the doors are opened to release the load, in this case 30 tonnes.

Anyone any experience of the 'procedure'?
