A BOLD STATEMENT

Hello Folks

I am Baobab72 and despite of all the whining that goes on on a daily basis over the forum, i have to make a bold statement:

I TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN WORKING FOR MY CURRENT EMPLOYER

I know that the perfect company does not exist but there are companies out there that will look after you, will treat you as a valuable asset and invest in you, if you show them a decent level of professionalism.

Let's show this world that there are still fair operators out there that they will employ you based on a fair interview, regardless of who you know, - it did happen to me and it will happen again - and that is a pleasure to work for and let us stop casting mud over the indusrty!

I like this industry, the bizjet world, i find it challenging and i blieve that we are not serving it good if we just show the bad side of it!!

I agree, I love the industry and enjoy the challenges that airline folks don't see. I expect tough times and the odd heavy flying day. I enjoy making an operation happen and dealing with special requests. My company are good to me and I am proud to work for them.

How very nice for you.

If everything you wrote is really true, then congrats, you found one of the very few left. My employer is okay too, after 2 very opposite ones and the first which was okay I´m just even.

There is little to celebrate for the average colleague in business aviation IMO.

Ahhh, sorry, whining again....

Thats good to hear baobab72'

I am also very happy with my biz jet employer. Feeling more at home and valued than at any of my previous airline jobs.

Things I've seen here so far, it all looks great. Less w@nking and more get on with it and enjoy style. But I do belive I'm with one of the best. Lucky me. :ok:

Baobab,

Glad you are happy -

I'm not sure that just because they are whining and moaning all the time that they are not happy and taking great pride in what they do.

Pilots moan and whinge about the job that they love - it's just how it is.

I take pride in working for my employer too.

Of course they're not perfect, of course I would prefer if they paid me more or let me spend more time at home. However this is reality. They are a good company, they support me where it counts (flight safety), they respect me as a professional and the work is interesting.

Your are right spot on, if there is no some amount of whining in the cockpit, someone must be dead already... :} :p

That's good CRM - you know when your co-pilot is incapacitated.
