Who has ceased trading in the last 2 years?

I am preparing a presentaion for the Business Aircraft Europe conference at Biggin Hill later this month and would like a list of any aviation companies in Europe that we know have ceased trading in the last two years. I dont need any details just a list of company names please!

- Comfort Air in Munich
- Jet Conection in Frankfurt

and there are more.

Oh the dreams of the Amani suited brigade. I wish I had a dollar for every company who started up saying that they had discovered the correct way to run an aviation company and all rest of us were doing it wrong/out of date/too expensively/ignorantly. I wish, then all those dollars could fund my retirement rather than me still strapping in and flying off. Problem is I still enjoy it. ( The flying that is, not the Amani suiters)

One of France's largest bizav company, Aéro Services Executive, was liquidated in December 2010. It operated mainly Falcon 10s/50s/900s and an ACJ.

Glen Heavens 7th Sep 2011 14:32

It would be interesting to seperate the 'traditional' operators that have gone and the guys wearing Armani suits with trainers.........

Please keep the names coming!

GT London 7th Sep 2011 15:19

Hi Glen,

A couple of operators of larger aircraft but mainly operating in the Biz space were Icejet (D328's) and BlueLine of France....

This thread makes me want to polish my shoes and hug the boss

hawker750 8th Sep 2011 12:13

G-SPOT's don't talk about it, just do it, we need all the TLC we can get. Preferably do it just after he has called you out to fly just as your 12 year old has walked out to bat at his first cricket match .

Phil Brockwell 8th Sep 2011 13:43

G-SPOT's

It makes us want to polish your shoes and hug our team!

Phil
I just knew this thread would get you out of the woodwork. You've been a bit quiet lately, heard that you were having a bit of trouble getting to work lugging all that weight in your wallet:D

Sorry Hawker750 you may well be operating on a higher intellectual plain....or you took it out of context or more likely Im stupid

My point being I work for a guy (boss) who doesnt expose his crew to the wonderful world of charter/brokers/wannabee celebritys and the CAA. Hence his impending hug, the shiney shoes comment was for me to remain in his employ!!

Whilst I would love to work for you H750 in your vintage aircraft, If you dont mind I'll stick with those that have a good few hundred million quid. Now I should never assume - if you have made a good few hundred million quid from the chartering of your beloved fifties designed aircraft then I apologise

;);););););););)

:ok::ok::ok::ok::ok::ok:
