Metro Jet HK -Any Info?

Just wondering if there is anyone in PPRuNe land that has any info on Metro Jet Hong Kong... Specifically, conditions and allowances... Do they provide housing or housing allowance? (That is my main concern. I know that they pay pretty well, though I don't know definitive salary figures)

I am looking at applying and would like to be a little more informed to see whether this career direction would suit my circumstances

Cheers

Bump. Same question

Most of the operators pay around 4000-5000usd per month for housing, it is very expensive though.
That will get you a 2 bed apartment in an ok area.

Go have some good times in the far east:)

Does anyone have a list of all of the corporate operators in HK? I want to apply to all of them.

Rejected by the Chinese cardiologist. Will that be a problem in HK?

METROJET, Jet Aviation, Tag Aviation, Sinojet, Hong Kong Jet, Asiajet, TWC Aviation, Jet Edge, Vistajet, Lilyjet and Gama (uk). I heard there's over 90 biz jets based in Hong Kong.

You best bet medical wise is do your own HKCAD medical ( try Dr Vio and Partners in Kowloon). The CAD class one is less stringent than China one.

On a slightly different note,I just tried to walk in my resume at Metrojet and was told they do not accept drop off resume. Anyone else has better luck ?
I also saw HK Jet and Jet Aviation in the same building,but i don't think they are looking for FO?

I've never understood that. :hmm: Couple of bizjet operators I've visited have displayed mild paranoia at the possibility of a pilot sneaking in to drop off their CV. One Swiss outfit I visited last year throught I was doing exactly that and nearly threw me out :}
Personally I think that making an in-person, meat-o-sphere approach shows initiative and resourcefulness... but in any case, surely it would be easier to just accept it with a smile and quietly shred it if desired? :rolleyes:

All 9 biz jet operators in hk will need F/O's at some point. Keep knocking on doors.
