Airport Data

Does anyone know where we can find airport data in a usable or downloadable format i.e. xl doc or other? Free preferably, or if anyone has a document they can send by email PM me.

Depends on what data you want. UK, France, Czech Rep and many others have free online access to their respective AIPs. Just Google AIP + country and you should find it.

I don't think you'll find any airport data for free, anything comprehensive that is. Companies like Acukwik or Janes charge thousands for theirs as it takes huge amounts of time and effort to keep it accurate and up to date.

If you just need it for reference, eg looking up info then there's plenty of web-based resources and there's an iPhone app with FBO, Airport and Catering info for Europe I know of thru F'book, called SKY Tally.
