Sywell Hard Runway Licensed

Ladies & Gents,

Just a quick note to say the new concrete runway 03L/21R is now licensed as per NOTAM L1321/10. It took a while but we got there in the end :)

Jeff.

Hoorah, well done Jeff!

Dunno what am I cheering for, though - I don't use runways.... :p

Great news - but what was the hold-up for the last year, it was built about a year ago wasn't it?

What are the licensed lengths - LDA, TORA, ASDA, TODA?

Is it enough to get Mustang in on charter or private ops only for lightest jets? Guess it's more King Air territory than CJs.

Should be useful for Silverstone weekend.

Already had a Mustang in ! Problem at the moment is fuel but a bowser should be available mid to late April. JETA1 is a static point at the moment accessible only over grass surfaces.

It's OK Jeff, we won't be needing fuel for our Falcon 50.
See you soon,
Jez
