I was thinking of buying a Saturn V. mainly because it takes three people and can launch vertically, so ideal for the back garden.

Anyone have any experience of them? :O

Or alternatively:

Let me google that for you

How about I fly it for you - then you won't have to worry! ;)

@ Ten West:

From what I've heard the Saturn V is very fuel inefficient, have you considered an Ariane 5?

If you are serious about wanting information about the Challenger 600, I used to fly them.

From my notes the approximate fuel burns were 3200 lbs the first hour, 2600 lbs the second hour, 2400 lbs the third hour, 2200lbs the fourth hour. 2000lbs the 5th hour and on,

An example from the Pilot Training Manual shows a flight ability from LaGuardia, NY to Burbank, CA, with 5 Pax, baggage of 350 lbs, Mach 0.77 cruise and landing with about 2000 lbs reserve fuel. The time for the flight was 5hrs 27 min. Total fuel on take off was 14263 lbs.

Let me know if you are serious about your post?

Glad you told me. I just looked up the specs. and it burns 23 tons of fuel before it's even cleared the tower!
Then again 7.5 million pounds static thrust should get you to Malaga pretty quickly. :E

Anyway... Back on topic. ;)
