FL480 5th Dec 2008 05:04

Maybe on the smallest aircraft only (Falcon 2000 and Hawker 850XP) ?

saigona 5th Dec 2008 10:32

Could anyone put some light on this company?! Roster, Payscale, Culture...etc.

Christophglex 5th Dec 2008 12:21

I read on a Business aviation magazine, few months ago, that Comlux has intention to focus the business just on Airbus and Bombardier business and people told me they are still recruiting flight attendants.
Has someone any additional information?
Cheers

Denim and leather 6th Dec 2008 10:43

Hi there,

Comlux is a really good company where to fly, high professional standard, all the pilots are in good condideration and good atmosphere I heard just only the Hawker(it's sure) and Falcon pilots are laid off.
Roster one week on and one week off usualy or it depends of the fleet.
No hiring at this time.

Safe flights.

Strange situation, there are laying off and hiring on Airbus, what about all the guys laid off ?
For Stratus, you will only have an interview with tech questions and about the OPs1 regulation.
I don't know the Airbus f/o salaries.
Bases expect the gateway system.

Iver 3rd Feb 2009 13:18

Good point. Why don't they just transfer the Global pilots into the right seat of the Airbus? What, can't the Global pilots handle the transition? 200 hour airline pilot wannabes start off in the right seat of Airbus airplanes - why can't an experienced Global or Falcon pilot? The Global is probably more automated/advanced than the Airbus.

Can someone explain that to the rest of us? Is it all about not wanting to pay for a type rating with furloughed Airbus drivers in the market? That can't be good for loyalty (when economic conditions get better).

Denim and leather 3rd Feb 2009 15:29

Dear Iver,

You have forgotten the Hawker guys too!

max.aret 3rd Feb 2009 18:04

Do you know where they ended up? The only thing I know is, that they all were sacked. Does MS still own the Hawker?

saigona 3rd Feb 2009 21:05

Comlux conditions and earnings seem to be a well kept secret!
What is it about this outfit?
Very bad thing what they did to the Hawker and Glex guys!
They hire and fire in the same time!? :rolleyes
Hmmm...makes me curious.

Come on out there...what`s going on there at comlux!!
Also would like to have a light on salary, roster, lifestyle and ! Culture ! inside this Company.

Denim and leather 4th Feb 2009 05:21

[quote]Does MS still own the Hawker?

Yes he does!

All those wich as me ,we have been laid , may be we can meet a Swiss lawyer,so we can try something?

Ibis 4th Dec 2009 11:37

Inspector Clueless 4th Dec 2009 20:42

CLA

Folks,get your facts straight.
NW resigned 2 months ago for a new operation with x2 other CLA staff.
LB was removed yesterday by you know who.
Fact not rumour.
No-Im not NW.
Rumour can be damaging.
IC:ok:

dboy 5th May 2010 12:58

Instead of starting a new topic: does anybody know anything about the roster of this company??

The Puzzler 26th Jun 2010 20:48

How do you fit 25 hours in to 1 day?

Figure this out and you've answered your question

flyingdog 28th Jun 2010 19:48

Wil

if you know any operator not trying to fit 25h in a day at the present time, would you please let me know I would love to forward my resume

pullup hard 29th Jun 2010 10:22

Stay away from Comlux. Incompetent and chaotic.
No more private life. Enough said, but true!

Trainallover 7th Jul 2010 11:54

So any other news. Rumours of personnel changes again

Bergkamp10 20th Jul 2010 13:47

CLA PAY T & C's

Could anybody give me a heads up on salary, etc, etc

Thanks :)

fanblade1979 10th Sep 2010 08:10

@ Salaries: F/O starting ~6500 CHF CPT starting ~8000 CHF (monthly before tax/ 12x)
@ Roster: Chaos; OM allows for 23 days away from home/month. Aim 14/14 (hardly possible);
@ Employment: nearly all Postholders/head of depts laid off/quit and exchanged. New FOM is FOM/Training Mngr/Accountable Mngr in 1 person
"We have to think bigger"....quote management
Conditions deteriorating since about 1.5 years
@ Colleagues: at least on the Glex fleet excellent crews, lot of fun
Many looking for alternatives though
@ moving pilots to other fleets: laying off is cheaper than a type rating, plenty of Airbus rated people around
Seniority: doesn't exist
