Bose Headset Parts

Where's the best place (if any) to order parts for Bose aviation headsets?

Cheers

Headset Services Limited - The UK's leading Headset and Helmet Specialist

Excellent service, though with prices which reflect that...

If you want replacement earcups they are £35 from transair but $19 in the states. Best club together with some others an bulk buy.

How about buying parts from Bose?

You can buy Bose parts from the Bose website. Their service is excellent.

Thanks, it's the stirrups that hold the earcups on that keep snapping, so need them. I know people repair them for you but i'm a cheapskate!

I've got a Bose 10x (it's pretty old but still does a great job).
I'm wondering if it's possible to buy the cable that goes from the headset to the battery/control box?

This cable has taken a fair bit of damage and I've repaired it a few times, but it'd be good to just replace the whole cable. There are 5 pin plugs on each end.

Cheers

How old is your headset? If it's still within warranty send it back to the factory for a refurb, all FOC! :ok:

Older Bose headset parts

Hi--would anybody have any idea where to get the old Gel type earpads (muffs) for the old Series 2 Headset, ( or even have some not in use) --I have tried Headset Services in the Uk and from the Bose website they are not available there---Many thanks!!

Bose downcable

Hi--I have had a look at the Mic assembly on one of the X series--it looks like the best you will get away with is replacing the mic assembly and the down lead into the battery box--I have occasionally seen the complete assemblies on ebay (that the mic downlead and the GA/Heli plugs) -Bose still list the part but the price is a little high(!!!)--

For any Bose parts I would advice to contact Bose customer service. They are one of the best organization I know in that field and so far, always offered great deals on repairs and replacement parts - on some occasions of mine sending parts without sending a bill.

That's good to know. I'm afraid Headset Services have gone downhill recently. Prices seem to have gone sky high, and they absolutely refused to send out spare parts for my old Bose. I had to send the set to them.

Surprisingly, when I have a look at my european dealer the new A20 prices have gone significantly down (-20%). Do you refer to repair charges?

eloigorri 10th Mar 2015 00:52

Bose Europe push you to Headset Services in the UK for any repair.
Is it possible to deal directly with the factory if you are not based in the US?
I have several X headsets in need of repair and would prefer to deal directly with the factory.

Has anyone outside of the US managed to have headsets repaired directly with Bose?

Cheers. E

My headset is well outside the warranty period. Possibly about 10 years old. I've contacted Bose in Australia and didn't get a reply. I need the cable between the headset an the battery/control box. Could fit it myself if I could buy one.

bose x parts

I also needed two yokes for my bose X, took me about 4 minutes to undo the 8 screws in anticipation, but no, Bose wont sell me the parts, nor will HSL, so have had to take leave them with HSL to fix, £15 each for the yokes, twice the price of a david clark yoke, but SIXTY POUNDS for fitting!

bones13 can you post a picture of the connectors and cable? It might be a of a standard type.

Bones, go to sporty's website in the USA. Bose cables of all types available there about $200 USD tho. They will ship anywhere. You will ned to buy the whole assembly tho, microphone and plugs.
