Jet Options

Any truth in the rumour that Birmingham (UK) based Jet Options are to aquire Legacies? I know they wanted to expand but it's a big step up from Citations

Jet Options Legacy

Yes, it's all true. I hear they are pretty good at what they do. :ok:

propstriker 14th May 2008 23:50

legacies are sweet, definetly stepping up from a citation

Fried_Chicken 6th Jun 2008 21:03

Cheers, I see their first one was delivered yesterday evening

I presume they're keeping the Citations?

Not heard to the contrary.

G-IRSH is the Legacy - assume that gives a clue to the nationality of the owners?

Fried_Chicken 19th Jan 2009 19:34

Is there any truth that BHX based Jet Options may be in trouble (financially)? They seem like a good outfit & the company I previously worked for used them & they seemed a great bunch of people

Smeagels Boyfriend 19th Jan 2009 21:20

Go on give us a clue what Nationality the owners are then?

Re; trouble

Re: fried chick

Have heard rumours that jet options have given notice to staff, not sure how many. Anyone else heard the same??

jamesIST 27th Jan 2009 21:17

x933 20th Mar 2009 11:37

Went into liquidation last night, apparently

Sepp 20th Mar 2009 13:37

Goodbye and goodluck to all - good people to deal with !!

AlphaWhiskyRomeo 20th Mar 2009 15:18

Agree with Try Star.

Although I hope Try Star's boss doesn't catch them posting on here.

AircraftOperations 25th Mar 2009 20:02

What's happening to the aircraft? Are they owned by the airline?

Fried_Chicken 27th Mar 2009 00:36

Legacy G-IRSH is stuck at Birmingham with the Citations JETO & JOPT parked up at Biggin

FC

x933 27th Mar 2009 08:46

Biggin appears to be becoming an aircraft graveyard. Bluestream, Jet Options...

Have seen that the Citations are being marketed / operated by Direct Fly. Who also happen to have PC's Citation IIs (SOVA and LUXY) and King Air. What's the betting he's behind this outfit...

dl777jet 27th Mar 2009 19:09

I have a friend flying for Direct Fly, he said the company is taking 4 Citation II's and one King Air on lease and opened up a branch office in the UK and Italy. According to him some middle east investors are behind who want to become one of the major operators in Europe. I'm trying currently to get a dispatcher job with this company, seem to be a safe bet to keep the job.

TheOtherSide 27th Mar 2009 20:34

Big in Europe with the Plane Chartering left overs! I bet Netjets are shaking in their boots!

The Beer Hunter 27th Mar 2009 20:59

Why do people always compare any start-up to Netjets? There are:

1. Sections of the market that Netjets can't/won't/don't serve.

2. Companies who offer a superior service.

They may have the largest fleet in Europe but then again so do Ryanair and only their employees rave about them. Maybe I've just answered my own question.
