Entry Level F/O Salaryin Dubai...what to expect?
 

HI everyone

If the company pays for TR, how much should be expected as F/O? I know that living expenses are skyrocketting in Dubai and that even fellow pilots with EK or EY complain and at the current inflation rate and dollar fall against the €, I would really like to hear from y'all.

To be honest it's a bit of an open ended question and people will need more information to reply meaningfully. Which operation? Aircraft type? Roster pattern? Other benefits? Your own level of experience?

VIP Operations, mostly EU, Africa and US
AC: GIII, Hawker 900 or CL604

I wasn't asking for myself actually but there seems to be opportunities to get, with 1000hrs rqs from Execujet, I was really curious to know what sort deal you would get there if the company offers TR. Of course, I don't know if housing is provided or not, I'd say it would be much much more convenient to get a company paid apt due to rapidly increasing housing costs...

I can tell you that you will not get in with 1000 hours. time on type will help.

The falling dollar has no consequence in Dubai, so he cant use that, the Dirham is linked to the USD. Furthermore the fact that they are type rating you should have no influence on your pay, it is a tool required to do the job!!(a 3 year commitment may be required, but not financial.) If accommodation is included, nothing less than USD 60K excluding per diem would be acceptable, even for an entry level FO. If suitable accommodation is not included, don't go, cause it will cost you to much to stay there.

Actually, the 1000hrs req seems to become normal. Execujet M/E is for instance only asks for 1000hrs TT

I would say anything above 7000$ is good for F/O. 5000 - 6000 is market but the market is very dry and we cant find crew!!! Aircraft keep on coming and 70-90 hours/month Biz jet is easy!! If we do less its cause we are out of duty,

Per diems stay around 120$ a day.

Every one looking for crew!!

I confirm that you won't get anything with 1000 TT and no TR.
I have 3000TT and didn't get any interview for the time.

1000hrs are the min, but dont forget that there are hundreds of pilots out there, some with actual corporate/charter experience with time on type that want to get out of their country and come to Dubai.

$5,000 to $6,000 Per month, a suitable per diem, $100 dollars per day in the ME, $150 per day in Europe, accomidation should be modern, air conditioned, and located in a safe part of town, and is seperate from the salary, with transport to and from the airport. You might have to sign a contract, but not for more that two years, 3 is too much. Get everything in writing, take nothing for granted, cause there going to get there pound of flesh mate.
