UK Corporate usage - who flies what?
I'm trying to answer a question from a non-Aviation person, who wants to understand and quantify the economic benefits of GA.
Clearly corporate operations are growing dramatically in the UK, but how many Blue Chip and High Street names actually have their own aircraft or regularly use fractionals? |
Just about everyone! Not that many own aircraft many use fractionals like Netjets,Skyjet, Airpartner cards etc. Many also charter direct. Many CEO's these dyas charter jets for family time as well!

Yeah they want anonimity and then pump the company initials into the registration! whats that all about?

Well done Mobie, you must be the brains of your operation..............

you have to keep it private otherwise the press discover that the airplane X belong to the company Y but it is used mainly by the wife of the CEO to go shopping.

oil money....
I was at a formal dinner the other evening and I was speaking to this oil rigg "worker" (or probably owner considering the topic that came up).
I mentioned I was a pilot and would like to work for a company like Netjets, he comments that "he had flown with Netjets a few times, but when he flew over to Houston he needed a bit more space as it was such a long trip, so he preffered the 737's at Private Air!" :ooh: And this was the guy sitting at the smaller end of a long table of many "oil workers" |
