Signature to buy out Harrods ???????
 

Can anyone confirm or kill this rumour???? Heard today that signature have brought Harrods Aviation at Luton??:bored:

What is needed at EGGW is twice the ramp space for both of them.

Not today !! Harrods ramp was dead space - Signature was packed. Just who is the attracting the corporate business at Luton?

Even when Harrods move to the new facility the ramp is smaller and they have cargo A300's to contend with! Harrods regularly have a 767 parked on the ramp - where will that go????

Signature are maxed out now and have no space to expand! Surely it would make sense for one to but the other??:oh:

may be with denial of service for "unwanted" profiles, now that there is slots and "handling clearance" in Luton...EASy profiling...:E

I remember years ago the rumour that Signature wanted to acquire Harrods Aviation at LTN (possibly STN too) at the time that the LHR facility was sold. Apparently Al Fayed didn't want to sell...

Don't forget Momo has spent a lot of money on new players for Fulham this year, plus re-development of Craven Cottage (extra seating and new visual displays), and he's looking to buy a new site near White City to move the club there to a much bigger stadium (if he can get planning permission).

Surely Signature will overspill to the South Stands???? Or have all these been pencilled in for LoCo? It would make more sense, long term for Management to attract another FBO, would keep prices keen and when STN & LGW expand in years to come and all the LoCo disappear.......at least we will have a local Teterboro to be proud of...:rolleyes:

Why not just ask Signature!

Unlikely as one of the reasons Harrods are moving is becuase the Airport need this additional ramp space for parking airlines on full of pax.
