Challenger question .....
From another Forum .....
..... a Bombardier Challenger lines up ready for takeoff ...... a nice amount of liquid is discharged from below the rear of the fueselage, just before departure ...... what is the liquid? |
Could be fuel out the tail tank...........but it shouldn't be!!! Perhaps just a wee bit, but it really shouldn't be venting fuel.

Water from the icebox drain. Warmer it is more water drains...
|
I agree with that...there is a heated drain mast; it is forward of the tail tank and the aft compartment door.

Three things, the first mentioned - Ice box drain, the second - Hostie just remembered to drain sink before t/off!!
Passenger still in heads and just drained basin!! |
It's a Canadian thing, you wouldn't understand.
