It seems like the retirement age would be raised at 67... in the US?

Please tell us why you think you have the skills and qualities to become a pilot for a private operator?
Please tell us why you did not pursue this avenue earlier in your career?
Please say if you are prepared to fund your own type rating (probably average $60k approx) and if not why not? you are so keen to carry on yes?
Please specify what salary you expect to receive?
Please specify the hours that you graciously offer to be available for work?

I hate to sound like a tw@t, but I donŽt see anything in your profile qualifying for a Private Jet ops, other than the Medical Class I and even that is not really an asset. YouŽre likely better of looking at a simulator job to finish off with. If you would have done the switch 10 years earlier - youŽd a better chance. Best of luck with retirement.

Seriously !! Any business aviation experience ?
Go A330 SFI makes more sense instead an activity you likely have no idea ...

Wow, some serious defensiveness there, and some outright hostility !

Weird.

To the OP, I'm sorry for the flak you're getting here, if the guy with the worlds most experience in a 747 can get a job flying a Gulfstream upon retirement so can you. Take no notice of the nay sayers here, they just hate competition.

Yes, we aircrew have a tendency to eat our own young...Retired from a major air carrier 13 years ago. Still flying Gulfsteams on global operations. It isn't for everybody though.
