Flex Jet Europe
Hello Ladies and gentlemen,

Does anyone have an update on Flex Jet Europe start of ops date (if they haven't already).
what aircraft type they will use, the expected fleet count and the rotation expected

Rotation 7/5 or 6/4 during peak periods.

Fleet EMB550/Praetor 600. G650 on the way (all on website)

Yes, up and running right now.

Someone posted photos early last year of the packages and they looked pretty good but I think the post was taken down.

I would go for that option if I was an FO! Hopefully they will open up for Captains as well soon. Hopeful we're looking at another serious operator in competition to Netjets, but time will tell.

Odd requirement for 500 PICUS hours, is that some American thing, or just to easily weed out a lot of applicants?
Seem to remember they had that requirement back in 2019 too.

From memory, isn’t that one of the ATPL requirements?

There’s no such thing as PICUS in the US so I doubt it.

There seem to be some common misconception regarding the requirements:

≥500 hours as PIC Under Supervision (PICUS) or
(ii) 250 hours either as PIC or
(iii) 250 hours of which at least 70 hours as Pilot-in-Command and the remaining as PICUS

I got my ATPL unfrozen witht the (iii) requirement.

Why do they have 3 separate recruitments for 3 different bases? (Amsterdam/Milan/Malta)
What if a candidate have no preference regarding which base ?...

Is this info still valid cause it sounds like they will only have embraer legacy 600 and legacy500/praetor600?
