Have there been any reports as to who the passenger was, and if he/she was a pilot?

Yes, his name was mentioned earlier on this thread: Richard Boehlke, some kind of conman and it is suspected that it was suicide.

I thought Boehlke was the pilot, He has a Private certificate with a couple of type rates, but not in the accident airplane..

His background is quite interesting. I vaguely remember his partner, Rudi Dekker from very many years ago. I think he wanted to charter a VIP 707 we had.

Edit: I see that the video and other info do say he was the pilot....very interesting video. Thanks for posting.

Boehike was the pilot of record.Still have not heard the identification of the other person. Strange.
