ADS B Out or In and Out
I fly a C510 G1000 and it's time to upgrade to ADS B Out.
I have a quotation from Cessna Maintenance Center for that. It includes a G1000 upgrade.
I fly on a regular basis in G and E airspace, to small unmanned airports. Upgrading to ADSB Out might be the occasion to go for ADS B In as well.
I've read several things about ADSB In, and it's not clear to me at all.
- Is it possible to have ADS B In in the Cessna C510, and at what cost? That I know I'll have an answer to from Textron ;
- If the answer is yes, what additional theoretical and practical benefit to TCAS is there for the pilot who flies in Europe?
