Hi all

Our company want to purchase a business jet with a capacity of 3 crew and 12 passenger. Most of mid size jets fits for us but a restrictment our base airport lenght is 6600 feet lenght and a 450 feet stopway on one side. I wanna learn your Falcon2000S, Citiation Series,Learjet-Challenger etc. accelerate stop, take of distance and take of roll for Sea Level Standart Conditions and 3000' 25 °C (Our airport elevation)

do anyone have information about this thanks .

neither one of them are able of doing the things you want.
have a look at a legacy 600/650, GIV or above and Global 5000 and above.
what is the distance requirement(leg lengths)?

range is not so important for us 500 Nm will be enough for normal operating.

Most important think is will they safely take off from 6000 feet distance at 3000 Pressure altitude and 25-30 degrees.

Why do you want a jet for 500 mile legs? A KingAir or similar may work better, for MUCH lower costs...

12 pax and a crew of 3 is going to be uncomfortable in a mid size, think of the Lear 35s that claim to carry 8 or 9 pax. A F900 sounds like a good fit.

Quickly...

A Challenger 604 at 30C and 4000 feet PA will require...

GTOW of 38,000 lbs = 5570' of Take-Off distance.

GTOW of 40,000 lbs = 6200" of Take-Off distance.

You can probably find a 604 with a BOW between 27,500 lbs (low) to 28000 lbs (high) which includes the 2 pilots.

Add 200 lbs for the third crew and 2400 lbs for the 12 pax and then add 8000 lbs of fuel for the flight and you fall easily between the GTOWs of 38,000 lbs and 40,000 lbs.

8000 lbs of fuel gives you the following… 1st hour = 3000 lbs, 2nd hour = 2500 lbs leaving you an extra 2500 lbs fuel. Two hours of flying time = more than 500 nm range.

Keep in mind those numbers are at 30C and a pressure altitude of 4000 feet with 8000 lbs of fuel so this should give you some good margins for operating out of your airport.

The newer 605 soon to be replaced by the 650 could be a bit lighter on their BOWs. You could also check on the Challenger 350 to see how it compares (I’m not familiar with it).

Falcon 2000LXS, sexy beast!

4000NM (Salesman quote, you know) and similar rwy figures we get in our C680+ fuel consumption looks very nice also.

Pricing might be steep though.

May I ask why 3 crews for such short legs?
If I'm being too nosy, never mind.

12 passengers on a 2000 is a bit of a squeeze… I think it looks tight with 10 pax config, so shoving in another 2 seats somewhere is going to be tight.

Although, if you are only planning on 1H15 - 1H30 flights, not too much of an issue. I have never seen a 2000 with a 12 seat interior, so that may have to be something that is done post purchase by a completions company.

Also, is the 3 crew essential for such short trips?

Falcon 2000's generally won't take 12 PAX (or not in any degree of comfort). There may be a few around that have been converted to have a forward club four and two four seat sofas opposite each other but not many. Maintenance costs will make your eyes bleed and initial purchase cost is pretty lumpy. You're also at the max of what it will do PAX wise so no room to grow. Forget Falcon 900, you don't need the additional engine.

Can't help but think a 601 or 604 (depending on budget) would be a good buy for this. There used to be a 601 in Germany that had 16 seats and there's a few 604's that cab be role changed to have 14 in - individual seats as well rather than sofas. Only thing to check on the CL601 would be landing performance if it has to be operated commercially, take off performance for 500nm sectors should be OK.

A CL850 (or converted CRJ100/CRJ200) would probably work as well but don't know much about their runway performance.

Or, as a really left field solution - you've got probably the only mission that suits a Dornier 328 jet. Something like this:

Forget Citation and Lear for this mission, there's no STC for hand holds for standing PAX. Yet, anyway.

I don't think the OP will buy a plane because some member here told him to.
I think he's asking for information, and since on this board there are lots of very knowledgeable people he might get some good advice.
Nothing wrong with that.

Why not log into ebay....I'm sure they sell private jets there, and they have special deals this month for muppets!
