Poland - restrictions until May 26th (!!!)
From Eurocontrol:
Transfer to new ATC system took place
on 26/11/2013 0000 UTC
Warsaw ACC implemented its new ATC system
called PEGASUS21.
This operates all TMA sectors, EPWA tower and Approach functions.
Capacity has been reduced by 35 per cent initially at the ACC and will increase over the implementation period with normal ops expected on 26 May.
EPWA tower, TMA and arrival functions started with 25 per cent capacity reduction with stepped increases until normal ops 16 February.
Restrictions have been put in place to reroute traffic out of Polish airspace daily from 0900 UTC until 1500 UTC.From 2nd December the daily times will change to 0900 UTC-1800 UTC. See details
D-1 pretactical planning will decide on the use of Eastbound restrictions and other required scenarios.
Restrictions affect traffic departing from U... with destinations LI** LE** LO** EG**, LFP* and EHAM from 26 November until 15 January.
In addition to the above mentioned restrictions, other reroute scenarios and/or restrictions may be applied on a tactical basis if required. We will inform you by means of AIM/Headline news.
