It looks like if a German operator would be relocating to Ankara while getting a G650.

It's low, unless they tip 500€ each leg you never know! ;-)

Well, slight tangent, but I did hear that New Captains at Ryanair are being offered Eastern Europe bases on can't remember if it was €43,000 or €49,000 P.A. and I think thats on zero hour contracts and probably not allowed to work anywhere else.
Either way the rot will permeate every corner of the whole industry if this is indeed true.

Forget it, industry is down the drain. Low pays, normally absolutely no extras, ****ty hotels. That's what you can expect as an average pilot nowadays.

Few around still on owner contracts. Different story, and most owner's I would not even touch with a tire iron .

Fact is: Selfsponsored is in(still), and nobody is willing to pay that amount extra that you had to pay for your rating.
I personally refuse to pay for any rating, but then you have to accept the downturn. Walking/(Flying) thru your life with only a few ratings, normally older types as selfsponsored is on all the shiny new jets like Falcon, Global, Gulfs. All this selfsponsored guys kill the market, but that's nothing new and will not change so soon.

I don't know but get the feeling that they are paying so much more but the f@@king broker is taking 50% or more!
Good luck to them. I am rated but not interested unless they think about a 150% increase!

If you look at the advertisements, the blurb states the same stuff/salary for all of the jobs/aircraft advertised, this shows that its BS. They are only mining for CV's.

Kelly, so you would do it for $15K? You are selling the industry short....that is only 10K Sterling!!

Sorry, edited having noticed its Euros! Disregard.

Totally depends on where it's based, I know people offered $8k plus extras to fly one, full time contract in the ME.

I imagine that the truth is a combination of these statements. I laughed at the personal documents they wanted. I would be very wary of sending personal documents until I have a good idea of who is receiving them and in any case, where we are in the discussions.
