Aero Toy Store Stansted
Anybody know what has happened to this lot? I work nearby and they seem very quiet recently. Lots of talk of new operator moving into the hangar.
Local press recently had a piece on them after their manager was deported.

I used them a couple of times and intend to use them again.
It has been quiet for them, but the facility is nice, hangar space is ample and the service has been good.
There is some kind of maintenance facility which took over half the hangar realestate recently.

So the taxpayer will foot the Shirazi family council bill!
How can such scoundrels be allowed to do this and get away with it.
What MUGS the BAA were for allowing them into the airport! Hope the BAA staff that negotiated this deal get theIR ARSES sacked by MAG.
Feel sorry for the individuals that will now lose jobs let alone all the local businesses that worked in setting it all up and havent been paid.

UPDATE Council legal action to wind up Stansted aero firm over £1.15m debt | Uttlesford village headlines
It seems that UDC have started a winding up order on the company....
UTTLESFORD District Council has agreed to write off more than £1m in business rates owed by a luxury company at Stansted Airport – but is pressing ahead with legal action aimed at winding the company up.

Well, over the last dozen years or so aviation (airline and bizjet) has gradually suffered the same cancer that afflicted the City of London after the 1986 "big bang". All the spivs and barrowboys have streamed in, and screwed it for everybody.
