Any word on ARAMCO hiring expat First Officers?
Last time I saw one of their jets it was crewed with two Captains, not sure if that's the norm.

I think they are just advertising for show, like a few others.

jackx - I put my resume into them..dual rated, 11k hours and a college degree...no call.

So are they only taking Nasa test pilots?

Probably the same song and dance, culling for type ratings or just hiring people they know.

Robe...Not being critical here, but you have to know that the jobs like the one posted are sometimes advertised, but nearly always filled by someone who knows someone. Its a small world and most operators like ARAMCO and the other private or Royal flights work this way. It's an accepted method to make the hiring job easier and provides a certain level of comfort. (NASA shuttle time notwithstanding, a good internal reference goes much farther than a cold call.) Don't take it too personally.
Good luck, LC

I knew they were a bunch of w*****s when they wanted a college degree. Is anyone able to tell me how that effects operating an aircraft? If the person has a licence, what more is required?

The outfit reeks of nepotism.

Doubleu_anker, do you know of any major American corporation that accepts pilots without a degree? Aramco started life as an American company so their regulations would have come from that period.

@The Robe, considering your other PPrune guises and your immense knowledge and flight time, I'm amazed that they didn't immediately offer you the Chief Pilot's position.
