Does the wing tip on the kingair look bent (up)? It does to me.

In a curious coincidence, that Kingair 90 has the same colour scheme as the Kingair 200 I fly. Wonder if it's one of Beech's factory schemes?

In my day, we always had someone up front, with brake pressure to operate the brakes before any tow whatsoever, just for this eventuality. Would it have made a difference in this case?

@Doubleau anker....

Yes. If someone were sitting at the controls with power on the a/c this would likely have been avoided.

However, this is not practiced in the corporate jet world as it's not practical to have a pilot standing by in case the FBO needs to move the plane. The FBO will move planes about the ramp as needed to make space for others.

These aircraft are locked and usually need some sort of power, apu w/ hydraulics or at least electrical power, in order for the brakes to work. No FBO or a/c operator would permit a line person to operate the brakes anyway.

To add....I visit BNA Atlantic frequently and the ramp is unusually sloped. Very uncommon.

Atlantic. One would think that, even if the tug lets go, that there would have been chocks on board the tug and a chance to get them in front of the tyres...

It will be interesting hereafter to see who ends up paying for the damage to the two aircraft.
