Netjets International Routes

Would anyone know the number of annual flights Netjets do that are long-haul transpacific or transatlantic? Need it for Uni research.

No one individual - perhaps other than senior managers - will know this figure without going into iJet to look so I wouldn't bank on a useful answer.

So my question appears a difficult one to answer. What I have found so far on Netjets is:

Netjets Europe top 10 most visited airports

1 Le Bourget, Paris
2 London City
na Geneva
na Luton
na Farnborough
na Zurich
na Nice/Cote D Azur
na Linate, Milan
na Ciampino, Rome
na Biggin Hill, London
(Source, NJ Press Pack 2011)

Netjets dedicated FBO's:

1. Palm Beach International Airport (KPBI) in West Palm Beach, Florida
2. Van Nuys Airport (KVNY) in Van Nuys, California
3. Westchester County Airport (KHPN) in White Plains, New York
4. Port Columbus International Airport (KCMH) in Columbus, Ohio
5. Cincinnati Municipal Airport (KlUK) in Cincinnati, Ohio
(Source, NJ Newsletter Winter 2011)

Netjets owned airports:

1. Egelsbach Airport
(NJ website)

So once again, anyone on a ballpark figure of how many annual flights Netjets do that are long-haul transpacific or transatlantic?

Hi,

how about writing an email to Netjets? If they decide this information can be made publicly available without concern, they'll tell you. If not I don't think you'll find an employee who shares internal stuff on a web forum...

Kind regards,
Peter

PS: What kind of Uni research needs this stuff? Environmental bashing? ;-)

Since of latest, employees of Netjets are not even allowed to state in public who they work for...and yes, I deny that I work for them.

For those of you who were wondering. The research is for determining a potential market for faster travel, such as a supersonic business jet, hypersonic as well as point-to-point suborbital space travel. The study has nothing to do with environmental concerns. For a previous study on this topic have a look at this PDF Online catalogue ISU Library.

Cheers.

If I were you, I would contact the London and the Ohio office as they would have access to the records for both NJE and NJI/A.
You'll probably need to prove who you are, reason for the enquiry and the university you're studying at.
You'll get no valid info posting on a public bulletin board. Sorry.

EBACE is next month, visit them there.

As EMS has said, we can't talk about our employer any more on public forums.

Hi Bjarnum,

as said before: try to get in contact with Netjets on a more direct way than a web forum. If you're doing real research you'll want to discard hearsay(spel?) and get back to proven facts on a first hand basis...

Kind regards,
Peter

Why not try the NBAA (National Business Aviation Association) as a starting point. There's been market research done on this kind of thing before (supersonic business jet) by manufacturs, and NetJets would represent only some, by no means all, the long-range private flying being done out there.

NJI etc might give you some numbers, or not, but corporate flight departments aren't going to tell you a thing about where and how often they're flying. The NBAA may collect the non-specific, general statistics of thier membership as part of their overall effort to promote business aviation.
