EGLL for bizjet operations
What can you say about EGLL for bizjet operations?
Costwise, slotwise etc.
For a trip in some weeks, it would be the best airport locationwise. As it is on the weekend, the arrival and departure times would be a no-go for EGWU, I checked on that.
Cheers

I suspect runway slot availability at EGLL at weekends is slightly better than weekdays if looking at "off peak" times.
If you check BAA website for Heathrow and Conditions of Use this should give details of charges. Don't know about handling costs.

EGLL- extremely expensive landing fees so unless this has been factored into your trip, and subject to aircraft size, look at EGKB. No slots needed either at EGKB.

Fees for EGLL, EGKB, EGWU and EGLC
For anybody who is interested: Landing fees C525 (4950 kg) calculated with
4 PAX, 72 hours parking time, no extras:
EGLL: 6250€
EGWU: 950€
EGKB: 395€
EGLC: 6800€-7800€ (depending whether you arrive peak or off-peak), I doubt that you can leave the aircraft parked there for 72 hours. If you just drop off the PAX and position the aircraft to EGKB, the fees, including flight time, would be about 1900€-2900€. For positioning EGLC-EGKB-EGLC, including ground fees, costs would be 3300€-5300€.

You should certainly consider EGLF - approx 1.5hrs to central London
Or EGWU which is cheaper (than EGLL) but closer than EGFL to central London.
Have you considered EGGW? Harrods Aviation are there.

Parking LHR
I have noticed that if you get an inbound slot at about the time you want it is rare to get an outbound positioning slot that is even close to the one want you want, entailing lengthy parking or even an overnight.
One is parked on a cargo stand that, I believe, is leased by the handling agent.and as parking charges are exhorbitant the handling agent hapens to do very nicely if there are no departure slots avialable. Any one else come up with this strange phenomenon? It is worth checking for your self on the LHR slots website for available sots.

EGLL only makes sense for a business jet if your PAX are interlining onto a scheduled flight. For the west end of London (which would make sense if you were looking at LHR)
If you don't mind paying a bit over the odds and need to be in the west end in minimum driving time, and aren't planning on hanging around too long - then use Northolt.
If you are planning on staying for a while then Farnborough works out okay'ish (but Farnborough is a boring place to be for crews)
If you are planning on staying a while but haven't got a massive budget and you have the performance (and your PAX don't mind an extra 15min into town) then Oxford works (M40 to M25 takes about 35min, Knightsbridge doable in 1hr 15min)
If you're going to Canary Wharf or the Square Mile, Biggin or Luton work OK.

Of course Ocean Sky or Signature could also help you at Luton(!)
Farnborough isn't that cheap either and Biggin is a pig of a place to get anywhere from. Even though it is slot-less and 'cheap' it has not had a great success in attracting business aviation compared to the others.
Northolt is movement restricted and could probably fill its civil slot allocation several times over, it is a vastly underused facility that could make the govt a lot more cash if things were relaxed a bit.
If you are wanting to access east London then Stansted or Southend is a possibility. Even Gatwick seems to be ramping up its GA visitors.
Since arriving at Heathrow Signature have done a great job ramping up operations and finding available slots compared to a few years ago when business aviation was almost never seen. I still believe that if the slots were available many more operators would prefer to use LHR than the more distant options.

For checking Heathrow slot availability, go to:
https://www.online-coordination.com/...abid=AvailWeek
Then select LHR and enter the date in a DDMMM format (e.g. 09JUN). Green = slots available within the hour. If you then click on the hour, it will show you where exactly the available slot is. You can't book yourself, but Signature can take care of that for you.

To the OP give one of the three FBO's a call to get a more accurate response.

Whatever the prices and availability of slots at EGLL, in the last few months there has been a noticeable increase in the number of small to medium size biz-jets using the airport.
