I think it's for helicopters only - maybe single engine as well but definitely no jets. I have driven past it on my bike.

they want to attract VLJ types in there, i was in Mumbai in Feb where the owner of the airport held a launch event.

If they want to operate Mumbai - Amby valley - it would almost be quicker to drive there...

but then again the city traffic....
