I got the email for an invite as well. Feel free to send me a PM. I must say that I am a bit cautious after reading some of the posts.

Thanks

Hi all,
I also have received an email from VJ this morning, asking me to attend an assessment at the end of the month. I am rated on the LR40 with over 500hrs on type.
Has anyone got any info on the assessment process?

Thanks in advance

Hi everybody,

I have been invited for an assessment for VJ, as well, somebody could tell me, if there are a technical questions in the test? the sim ride will be as a single pilot or with crew concept? in the interview, they ask technical questions or personal questions?

Thank you everybody! You can send me private messages as well.

Fairly certain that - given that it's clearly a FAR/JAR25 aircraft that is being simulated - it will be with either another candidate or one of Alpha2's employees riding shotgun, ennit?

Out of interest leveledoff450 - they seriously give away now US bases to new starters? Or are you relocating to Europe.

Curious because for us old guys sometimes it was hard to get desired bases in European locations, now I've heard already that they hired US(and canadian I believe) guys.

Cheap proceedings...

Met a VJ crew recently in LFMN. They were trying to figure out if it was possible that management had any way of discovering that they would be found out for having received a free breakfast from the hotel they just checked out of. Apparantly, breakfast is something that the company do NOT provide in overnight accomodation!

Is this true?

Most companies that pay per diem do not pay for any food on top, only hotel.

If the crew received a complimentary breakfast then whats the problem? Perhaps they will have to pay back some of the per diem to the company if they find out? Wouldn't surprise me at all with VJ....
