Whats Happening in LEPA

I hear there are big restrictions on overnight parking in Palma
anyone have any feedback?

We had the same problem today, max parking time was 3 hours, notam below:

DUE TO GENERAL AVIATION CAPACITY, ALL TFC OPERATING FM OR TO LEPA
WILL REQ AIRPORT SLOT. ALL GENERAL AVIATION WILL REQUEST
AUTHORIZATION TO THE AIRPORT COORDINATION CENTRE 6 HOURS PRIOR
ESTIMATED TIME OF DEP FM OR ARRIVAL TO LEPA AD. ALL GENERAL
AVIATION WITHOUT AIRPORT SLOT WILL BE ONLY PROVIDED FUEL TO DEP TO
OTHER DESTINATION AIRPORTS IN LESS THAN 3 HOURS, AND WILL NOT BE
PROVIDED ANY OTHER GROUND SERVICE. THIS TRAFFIC WILL NOT LOAD OR
UNLOAD PASSENGERS.

Pain in the neck but not as bad as some italian airports l have just encountered this weekend!!!!!!

I am not in GA anymore so the following might be a load of crxx


I am sure if you speak to Mallorcair Miguel they will surely I would hope sort something out on your behalf

after all its not exactly a small GA Ramp at LEPA



Lets hope it does not go the Italian Way fingers Crossed

Saw a 757 being unloaded on what I thought was part of the GA ramp, seems like that bit of the ramp is being used for the charter airline stuff.

Maybe wrong, but we had the same problem the other day too. I suggested parking in Ibiza to allow the crew to be close by and also enjoy the Island views

We parked there for the weekend two weeks ago no problemo, the ramp was barely half full.
