"You are bored", ha, spent 6 hours on the apron in Nanded (India) last night waiting for pax, finally got call that departure was 08:30 this morning!

Guess what, no hotels in Nanded, APU on, Seats recline, Hostie supply drinks and pax food, good night.......departed 08:45..back in Mumbai....monsoon, arrival at minimums, everything flooded, should have stayed in Nanded, and you think your day is slow........lol

Bummer! At least you've got catering on and a hostie... Im not overly keen on the African airport nosh here.

This next sector is just a short hop at least back to base. Been a long (and delayed) 1 week tour though. Enjoy the monsoon mate.

Enjoy the day 500, my pax are government ministers at the highest level, it don't matter who you carry, you are still just the driver...lol

Flew for 2 years in Cameroon, great food, best natural laxative known to man, at least it gets you to sleep before it hits.

Have fun, shiny side up and keep smiling....happy landings

Not all pax are like that.

A friend of mine flies a CJ for a well-educated, well-mannered family. If they are ten minutes late, they apologise profusely. They always leave the plane spotlessly tidy. If they are on a trip longer than three nights away, they pay for him to take the airline back home between flights. They pay him an excellent salary, he knows the schedule weeks in advance, and he only flies about five times per month. Nice job!

Only 4-6 hours. Luxury!

My record is three days late. Pitched up each day, sat around, then ate the catering and went back to the hotel. (And very nice catering it was, too). On the evening of the third day, he finally showed and we went flying. On the other hand, he pays the salary and he owns a jet so he can be late. My job is to make sure he gets to where he wants to go, regardless. When you start a trip, your time his his time. That's what you get paid the moolah for!
