Samedan overrun

Hello,

Just saw there has been an overrun at Samedan. No one got hurt. You can see the aircraft stuck in the snow next to the runway on the airport's web cam here: Engadin Airport

But you can't see well enough to make out what type and reg?

Does anyone know more?

Ciao

It is not an overrun; it is parked on the normal ramp!

Yeah, sure!

Would you be willing to bet the house on it?

10h56 on the webcam and the only citation there looks fine to me... Normal parking (on the snow).

Sorry, the ramp is here:

Engadin Airport

The aircraft is "parked" on the area normally reserved to gliders, on the grass.

So again, anyone knows more?

That's the normal snow parking, this winter everything up to an Excel has been parked there. If the weather is good you can easily see 20 aircraft parked on that side

Ok, Ok, not been there in a (long) while.

Still, the overun makes the news:

Business-Jet rast über Piste hinaus [news.search.ch]

So?

You are talking about two different things here... There was an overrun on Friday (GLEX N906JW). That's the one reported by the media. And today there was another overrun, apparently (Citation?).

Try next time Runway Analysis, do you need anymore evidence?

GLEX overrun?

Anybody have further details on N706JW's overrun?
The GLEX has probably the best autobraking system available on any a/c. Set to HIGH, it stops so quickly your fillings overtake you! It is truly awesome to watch or experience.

Flintster, it's true but they're so old that they have fillings, and we prefer landing backwards!

overrun - autobrake...?

...your autobrake system commands a preset deceleration rate mate...on an icy 03/21 @ LSZS your rate goes banana...might be worth to check the landing performance tables once in a while and not watching the ski bunnies on the slopes during approach...

Flare Idle.

You do know that neither of the pilots of N706JW are on here? Right?
