Married pilot 'sexually harassed blonde stewardess' on luxury jets
He sent her an explicit text message and said he liked her 'sexy, kinky boots', an employment tribunal heard.

I think its the old story Flintstone, "sexual harassment" can be described as flirting that is not well received......and I would suspect that a 62 year old flirting with a 20 something is at best probably distasteful, if not downright creepy!

Like most of these things there's almost certainly more to it than we're being told by the meeja. I'm sure we don't need to have it pointed out that banter or flirting can be fine for some people and not for others. That said there are some pretty thick skinned people who just don't know when it's appropriate (not that I'm pronouncing judgement here on either party) and when it's not.
Aviation is one of the last bastions of a 'robust' work environment and most of the cabin crew I've worked with can give as good as they get. When the pisstaking stops it's a bad sign.

No answer to this really.
I suspect there is more to the story, than meets the eye.
Was she fired, for bad "performance" with the "passengers"...
The banter is 100% normal this side of the water, and 100% abnormal the other side...but in the sand pit, it is the passengers who take the banter too far.
Just today, our tall, blonde, slim, hostess, was propositioned by a passenger.....What chance for us old farts in the cockpit.

Best one I heard was a cold morning in UUDD when the FA was asked to knit the old boy crusty skipper a willy warmer, quick as a flash there was the return comment about her being no good at knitting but remembered some crocheting which would probably be more appropiate !

Maybe I'm a cynic and maybe I'm wrong but this just smells of bitter ex-employee trying to see how much she can scam out of her previous employer using the "sexual harassment" ploy. He may be stupid but she sounds vindictive.......a woman scorned etc.

com on fellas, give the poor girl a break, she 20 something, she never heard such things said to her in her life, she muste been shocked and traumatised. hence the 10000 for injury.

if the guy was out off line and keep asking and asking etc, sure talk him or your boss about it.
but to many chiks take you to court over this sort of things just to get some €€ or $$ out off others
