Mark Davies at OFT

When I was at OFT (Orlando Flight Training) during summer 2004 so was Mark Davies and he was doing his FAA private with little success. All the instructors said he was total SH---.te but he was telling everyone he used to fly for BMI Baby but he lost his JAA medical. When I left after 2 months guess who was still there doin his private????????

Mark lives in his own little world.

Check the Airman certification branch. Where is his 757 type rating and ATPL? https://amsrvs.registry.faa.gov/airmeninquiry/

If you believe a word out of his mouth you'll believe anything

Absolute idiot I'd say more but its pprune

Unique

MD is a 'Billy Liar'. MS is mad to have anything to do with him. The Citation is ancient. The website is sh*te. The whole thing is a sad joke by a bunch of total amateurs. It really is time the CAA just put them on a blacklist. I had a very, very close call with them and they lied, lied and lied again. Don't go near - licence or not. There are proper companies run by competent people out there. They are not one of them.

It has come to my attention that local government agencies have started showing an interest and statements have been taken and signed. I continue to watch with interest.

Have they been in a citation?

The ONE page of their website states that "The premium aircraft for use on short haul flights within Europe for ranges of 1600nm and less are Citation 2 aircraft."

Do you think they have realised that Cessna have managed to produce several models of the Citation since the Citation 2 was first flown in 1977?

And apparently "The aircraft has the facilities of more expensive executive aircraft, including wash rooms and can be made to serve hot food, cold food or various types of drinks according to the advance requirements of the various clients."

Come on Mark and who ever else at Unique Air thinks they know a thing or two about corporate jets...tell me where the wash rooms are situated? It's hard enough to get your kaks down in the back, let alone wash your hands, that's unless you want to wash them with the chemical solution when you try and flush it. Oh and if you could direct me to where the ovens are situated i'd love to serve the hot food up...all i can manage to heat up is a cup of coffee and that's normally luke warm!

I'd suggest it more useful to not bother with the website and just BullHuHmm down the phone to the poor unsuspecting cheapskate who thinks he's getting a good deal when he uses Unique Air.

Best Wishes!

I see that G-CEUO is being offered by charter broker Air Charter Service, being operated by MAN Aviation, anyone know MAN? I can't find them on the CAA website.

G-CEUO still registered to Unique I see.

Surely someone as big and well known as ACS wouldn't be daft enough to be associated with something (or someone) that has had so much bad press, would they?

Unique Air C550

There is a MANN AIR. But they don't have the C550 on their AOC. I hope MD isn't muddying the name of an above board AOC operator. I don't think anyone would allow Unique to operate off their AOC with the reputation they have acquired.

They are advertising this aircraft on Avinode.

The aircraft is described as G-CEUO, manufactured 1979, based at Farnbrorough.

Interestingly, there is a caveat in the description.

"Aircraft AOC" not provided by operator ??
"Aircraft Insurance" not provided by operator ??

I guess that's what happens when cargo people try to dabble in executive aviation !!! Maybe the aircraft can only be booked for 'private' cargo flights ?

Has anyone booked this thing ?

there are actually a large amount of aircraft on Avinode that choose not to post their aoc/insurance documents on view - I am sure that some have geniune reasons or have just not got around to it......on this occasion however, I am not so sure....
