Cool

Gold Hair,

Top Latin old man, I'm most encouraged to see another Pruner using the one true language. You have however made a glaring omission from your list:

'Nil carborundum illegitimi'

I'm no scholar and may be incorrect in my spelling but the meaning is clear to those who know..............

Enjoy

Gold Hair,

Thanks. But if, lets say, a person, couldn't be particularly a*sed looking through the last few years (!) worth of posts, you'd say "NO" .........right?

Cheers

Weirdo ,
So how long are you out of the institution this time ??

It seems that you aren't able to post messages all the time , so I conclude that you must be in some sort of institution where they keep you locked up , or atleast they should do !!!

And as for governmaet health warnings , I bet you are some fat overweight , beer swilling , chain smoking figure of health !!!!!!!!

Jetset41 .

Ps , some of us enjoy working for a living , how about you ???

I dont smoke half as much as you do. I enjoy the odd pint or two and I dont think 14 stone is fat for a 6 foot weight lifting fanatic.

I cant tolerate you brown nosed blue eyed idiots, maybe one day you will realise what a prat you have been.

Why are you always covering wc´s six?

Ladies, ladies,
This constant sniping at every opportunity is getting tedious and you are certainly not answering the original question

Remember this:

'A friend of mine is considering applying for a job with GoldAir and would appreciate any information about the company that you guys can supply.

Good to work for?

Time away?

etc etc

Thanks'

STICK TO THE POINT and lets have constructive answers to the original question

Weirdo , I've said this before , you got it all wrong as usual .
Try again as I haven't smoked for the last 20 yrs . HHHmmm !
And as for brown nosing , grow up , I'm a proffesional person here . Don't need to do that , I'm good enough without that , that's why I was asked to work there !!!!

Gerraway with U .
Firstly I've been with GAI for over 3 yrs , that speaks enough for it's self these days .

You also assume that we know what position your friend is after .

Working there can be hard work in my dept, but never been one to shy away from hard work .

The fact that so many people are PM me as to what it's like suggests that quite a few are seeking work with us . So they are looking to be working with a good company that despite what others are saying is thriving and expanding .
After all we do have 5 LR 45's plus 5 more on order , plus other machinery .

Let your friend come for the interview and lets see if he\she can pass the grade to get in . It's worth it I think .

You just can't resist sniping back can you- just quit will you, we don't want to hear it.

I don't know Comjam, he's not a friend of mine. I copied his first post to make the point that Weirdo pepper and yourself were not answering his question.

In your last post you said,

'After all we do have 5 LR 45's plus 5 more on order'

Do you not mean surely that you will be replacing your current Lears with new ones if, that is, you do decide to take up the option to do so?

Is it not prudent when speaking to prospective candidates to be as accurate as possible about Goldair's future. Although I am sure that Comjam will appreciate your upbeat attitude whilst talking about your company.

Any advice

Hi Jetset41 (or anyone else who would like to chip in without having a slanging match)

i was just reading through your posts about Goldair and was wondering if you could supply with some info. Ive just completed my CPL / ME / IR (all first time passes on minimum hours) and feel a victim of my own success. It seems that everywhere i look corporate and airlines are asking for at least 1500 hours. Ive a background in Ops and speak 3 languages too. I MUST have an attractive CV ???? What more can i do to show that im a good pilot already ??? Other than brown nosing my way in or building up masses of hours can you tell me of another way i can find a flying job (or even get a foothold) ????

Any help would be much appreciated.

Look forward to your reply.

Gerraway ,
you say I'm snipping back , read all the posts on Gold Air and you'll find that Weirdo has it in for GAI in a big way, and I'm only replying to his vitreol !!!!
So far I haven't started any threads , just replied to them , just like all others ppruners .
What is wrong in defending my company ?

If I said your wife was crap , you'd reply too , wouldn't you ???

If you don't want to hear it , don't read it .
My guess is that you are one of Weirdo's mates , if he has any !!!

You lot leave us alone , and we''ll do the job of flying clients around the world , and all will be dandy .

If these replies are being posted by GAI pilots, all I can say is I would not want to be flown by clowns like this. Get real guys, GAI is no different than any other biz jet operator. It's just WC who is different and so just let him be the way he is and get on with your own life.......

Where are the Mods?

Where are the Mods at the moment?

Initially these posts have all been interesting, but now they're all turning into a bitter attack on WC.

The only person it's reflecting badly on is the poster, not WC. It's just making you look like a bitter former employee... and I don't know whether you fit the bill on that or not? But it's not really helping anyone other than wasting PPRuNe's bandwidth.

Yes, I know I'm wasting the bandwidth by posting this too...!

Just occasionally they let me slip the surly bonds of Earth.

Folks, these Gold Air threads are, as Daifly points out, a little beyond the pale. In an effort to control the vitriol I'm closing all current Gold Air threads. Please feel free to start a new one but keep it nice or you'll be sinbinned.

I won't be able to make this request a second time.
