Looks like it's in a junk-yard going by the background? Bugs and fly-!!!! at the front, or is that the exhaust?

It's at the front - an air intake, but not to an engine.

It also looks "industrial strength" with the ring of bolts holding the end piece on?

It's not an engine intake mate - it's for something else.

"industrial strength" might give you a clue as to the country.

The proboscis is a rear-view mirror.

The splatterings around the guard can only be squashed bugs.

Strewth - if that's a jet exhaust it's tiny.........

As I understand it mate, it exhausts compressed air from the main jet engine.
