Have a good day mate,

The book is well worth a look, but it's not the XP-46 as you probably realise!

I'm gonna hit the hay now as it's gone 1 am and I'm up at half five :(

SincoTC 23rd August 2012 04:18

Oh well,

Been a quiet night I see :)

Kitbag 23rd August 2012 05:22

I guess Noyade was concentrating on the photo of the Curtiss Hawk rather than the headline about the P46?

SincoTC 23rd August 2012 06:07

Morning Kitbag,

Yes I agree, but I thought he might come back during his lunch or afternoon break and give me it's name and number :)

SincoTC 23rd August 2012 06:29

Well, I will be offline for a while and as it's late afternoon in Oz and Graeme will be back soon I expect, so I think it only fair that I award the Challenge to Noyade, 'coz as kitbag said, it is a Hawk on the cover!

The Challenge aircraft is in fact a Curtiss Hawk 75 (A1 to be pedantic)

Noyade has control :ok:

Noyade 23rd August 2012 10:17

come back during his lunch or afternoon break
Thanks Trevor but I've no internet at work mate. It looked like it might be a Curtiss so I took the mag to work (lots of Curtiss pics) but never got a chance to look.

I'll make it open house.

Karlark 29th August 2012 02:31

Kitbag 29th August 2012 20:13

Has the look of one of those pesky RR Vultures on an Avro Manchester

sabredog 29th August 2012 22:15

Not the Avro Manchester,Kitbag.

Kitbag 30th August 2012 04:46

But still a vulture?
How about that interesting Warwick B-20 design?

SincoTC 30th August 2012 05:39
