A real "Mig Alley"
On Friday, I visited the Polish Aviation Museum at the old Kraków-Rakowice-Czyżyny Airport. Lots of interesting aircraft but for me the surprising highlight was a real Mig Alley!

The nose reminded me of a basking-shark! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PZL-Mielec_Lim-6 Beyond Mig Alley was this Sukhoi Su-22UM3K. I hadn't realized what giant wing fences it has. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....e10628558.jpeg And finally, an aircraft I knew about but had never seen - the PZL M-15 Belphegor - a jet-powered crop sprayer. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....d4e213305.jpeg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....d5868d8f1.jpeg |

Great pics!

The best Mig alley I ever saw was the buldozed remnants of the Somali "Air force" at Mogadishu in 1993.
