Boeing 707-436 G-APFD

I flew on G-APFD as a cabin crew between 1976 and 1979 first with British Airtours from Gatwick as a trainee on my first flight LGW-FAO-LGW and after on Air Mauritius from Mauritius, to Europe, India, South Africa and Australia. I have decided to put pen to paper and collect the maximum articles, photos and information on her and her sister ships G-APFB to G-APFP. If any one has such information or photos which I could use, please feel free to pass it on to me if you feel that I can freely use such information or photos.

Thanks,
Although we always flew to LHR, the aircraft was maintained at LGW at KT.

This doesn't make us any younger! A friend of mine was a stewardess with British Airtours, her husband did fly on IAS (I think) Her name was Tina and I think his name was Mike ...

B.O.A.C.'s Boeing 707-436

I am plesed to let you all know that I have published my book "Fox Delta - My story of the Boeing 707 and B.O.A.C's 707-436 series G-APFB thru G-APFP..." in mid-June 2023 and it already has some good reviews.
One from a B.O.A.C. / British Airways retired Captain and one from a Captain of Boeing 767 ER Cargo on AerUnion (Avianca's cargo section), both give me 5 stars and very nice words.
The book, as the title says, is a history of the Boeing 707 and specifically the story of those 37 units 707-400 series which werepowered by four Conway Bypass Turbojets - Rolls-Royce Mark 508, putting more emphasis on B.O.A.C.s 707-436s.
The book is available on all Amazon sites and can be easily be found by typing " Fox Delta Boeing 707".
I hope that I am not going against any rules by posting this.
Kind regards,
Henri

Thread drift. Did IAS become Intavia/African International?

IAS merged with Trans Meridian in 1979 to form British Cargo Airlines which went bust in 1980.
