`That` radio shack bits n bobs shop in Lincoln.
Whenever I visit Lincoln, I take a walk up the hill to visit that large aviation related and radio bits n bobs shop.
I forget the name, but it sells fuses, valves, bits of aircraft, dials, gauges etc. I usually buy a gauge or dial for a few pounds. Sadly, this year I learnt of the passing of the owner and wonder on the future of this curiously British shop. I post this thread for any anecdotes or information on the history of the shop and its owner. |

On passing in June this year it was all gone and trendy shops built in its place! |
