BCAL 320 four wheel bogie..?
Hi all....please accept my apologies if this is not the proper place, but i will kindly ask your always welcoming knowledge and explanations.
Last night i was checking this airlines auction site, when i stuck on this item »»» https://www.airlineslides.com/listin...num=1030209121 Alt View in case it goes selling (by Charly007, the OP credited as seller) https://ibb.co/9GVhqPk So here it is my doubt...i searched in all web last night but every site, picture, etc, this very same F-WWDA appears only with a normal two wheel boogie. Only the 320s from Air India // Indian Al. appears like this with 4 boogie. Even no mention at all in any historic site about it...so any help or possible explanation please..?? Tks in advance...Friendly, JF :) |
The photo is of MSN 2, retained for the first 4 years of its life by Airbus and for a time painted (on one side only) in BCal colours, though of course it never entered service with them.
It's quite possible that it was used during development of the 4-wheel MLG while still painted as such. |
4 wheel Boogie......is this a new dance?
