Moreton Valence airfield history

Does anyone have info about Moreton Valence airfield, which I believe was part of the Gloster Aircraft Company until the 1960s, and late that decade the runway became part of the M5, and I'm not sure what happened to the buildings and surrounding land.

Take a look at Moreton Valence - UK Airfield Guide.
I used to know someone who actually lived in a house built on the old airfield.

NB: Be careful, that website is habit forming.https://www.pprune.org/images/icons/winksbuddie.gif

Home of the Javelin

I think the old hangars are/were in industrial use, and the Control Tower was on the other side of the motor way and may be still there as a house.
A large Pallet company was based there using the name.
