QF 72
 
Have heard about a major automatics failures on QF 72. But haven't found any official investigation. Would appreciate any info re this issue from Ppruners.

AO-2010-089 is the number of the 53-page preliminary report on QF-32, report and event in the year 2010. Which was an A380. Do you mean the 330 or the 380 case? Wikipedia is a good start indeed, just scroll to the source documents at the bottom.

I'm inclined to give the OP the benefit of the doubt and assume that they have the flight number and the nature of the event correct.

But I agree that if both of those are wrong, there are any number of other QF possibilities including that A380 uncontained engine failure.

I am guessing that 4Greens is seeking information on QF72 SIN-PER which had a major automation failure, if so the details can be found through the Australian Transport Safety Bureau with the following link:
